In jubilant hours when laughter rings, Many join in the chorus of delight; Yet when sorrow’s shadow silently clings, One loyal soul remains to set things right. Once, trust flowed freely like a timeless song, Where every word was met with warm embrace; Now, genuine care seems trampled by the throng, And kindness wears a wary, guarded face.
