Introduction: Life rarely goes as planned. We make choices—some bold, some careless, some born out of fear, others out of hope. And as time moves on, we're often left wondering "What if?" But this poem isn't about regret alone. It's about laughter found in failure, wisdom born from detours, and the quiet joy in embracing your life, not despite your choices, but because of them. Because even the missteps made us move. It started with a coin, I think— Heads for tea, and tails for ink. I flipped it high, the wind had say, And that’s how I got here today. A simple game, a silent breeze, That rewrote all my memories. I wore one boot and one old shoe, To chase a dream that never grew. It led me down a laughing track— Till joy ran out and turned its back. But even when the joy ran thin, I found odd places joy lives in.
