Eternal Echoes of Unseen Love

Introduction: Sometimes, the deepest love remains unspoken. This poem delves into the pain and quiet beauty of loving someone from afar, in silence, where every unspoken word becomes an echo in the heart.

I loved you in whispers, in shadows unseen,
A fleeting dream lost in the spaces between.
Your eyes held galaxies I could never explore,
And your heart—locked tight behind an unopenable door.

I gave you my silence, my aching, my all,
But you never noticed my quietest fall.
Each word unspoken became my undoing,
A symphony played for a love eluding.

Yet still, I loved—in the dark, in the cold,
Clutching a hope too fragile to hold.
For love unreturned is a cruel, endless ache,
A bond unformed, yet impossible to break.

The starry skies bear quiet witness
To a love that gleams only for you,
And every raindrop softly murmurs
The longing my heart cannot subdue.

You claimed to see through my silence,
To read the truths my lips concealed,
Yet the ache that flickered in my eyes
Remained a wound you never healed.

Each whispered breeze calls out your name,
Yet you never hear its sighs.
The moonlight wraps me in its glow,
But can't soften your goodbyes.

Every rainbow paints our memories,
Bright moments only we once knew.
The sunshine of your fleeting presence
Outshone every shade of blue.

I feared my love would tear us apart,
And end the bond we dare defend,
So I kept my heart a silent prisoner,
But my love won’t break, nor bend.

I trace your face in restless dreams,
A fading echo I can't erase.
Your absence carves an endless void,
A haunting shadow I still chase.

I wished for your joy, though it shattered me,
For love, my dear, is selfless and true.
And even if you never see it,
I hope one day you'll understand too.

The dawn arrives, cold and unkind,
Breaking hopes that night once wove.
For love that blooms without return
Is both a curse and proof of love.

Yet still, I love—in quiet despair,
A flame that time cannot remove.
For even stars will dim and die,
But not the love I hold for you.

Well, this may be the end of my tale,
But never the end of my love.
In every life my soul shall live,
I’ll wish for you from the skies above.
